What we collect
When you sign in we receive your email address and display name from our identity provider (signin.ounie.com). When you generate a carousel we record which of your brains you selected, the topic, the slide copy produced (each with a citation pointer to the brain page it came from), the caption and hashtags, and — if you added it — the AI backdrop image (stored privately, deleted with the carousel).
What we don't collect
We don't track you across the web. There are no third-party analytics scripts, no advertising pixels, no session replay. We don't sell, share, or resell anything you generate. Every carousel belongs to the account that made it.
Where data lives
Application data (carousels, slides, credit ledger entries) is stored in a single Neon Postgres database hosted in the US. Your brain content itself stays on ounie.com — Carousel Studio reads it at generation time through Ounie's API as you, and never keeps a copy of your sources.
Payments
Payments happen on ounie.com, where Stripe processes credit purchases. This product never sees your card number; it only reads and debits your Ounie credit wallet. Stripe's privacy policy lives at stripe.com/privacy.
Your brain content
Slides are generated only from the brains you own and select, fetched through Ounie's API with your own session — Carousel Studio can never see anyone else's brain, and never stores your sources. Deleting a carousel deletes its slides and backdrop; your brain on ounie.com is untouched.
Deletion
To delete your account or download your data, open a privacy ticket. We respond within 7 days and complete the deletion within 30.
